Leura, Blue Mountains

After our quick stop at Jamieson's Lookout and Wentworth Falls Lookout, we were off to the little town of Leura in the Blue Mountains.

I'd love to come back to Leura someday.

Our day tour also came with lunch.

Mummy.

Interior of the restaurant.

Our warm fluffy bread and butter.

Chicken Schnitzel and rice. It tasted bland to be honest.

Fish fillet and rice. Tasted even more bland.

We gobbled down our lunch and went exploring the streets of Leura.

Row of shops on the main street.

Mummy strolling on the streets.

Spotted this Christmas speciality store on the main street.

Our guide also told us that the pies at this corner shop was worth the try.

So with our stuffed tummies we went, and bough ourselves a huge chicken pie.

Trust me, this is the best chicken pie I've ever tasted. Worth every dollar spent.

The skies were clear and the weather was just perfect.

And lastly, the old post office of Leura.

I'd wish we could have more time to slowly explore the shops and absorb in the wonderful atmosphere of this place. As for the chicken pie we bought, I really wish we could savour it again someday.
