Authentic Thai @ Erawan Classic Thai and Fusion, Kota Damansara

Couple of weeks back, me and the close friends decided to catch up over dinner since we have not been spending much time together like how we use to.

Then one of the close friend suggested that we try out Erawan Classic Thai and Fusion at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara since we live in the area and his family loves the food there. They love it so much that his mom pre-orders dinner in advance and gets him to pick them up after work while on his way home.

Photos were taken from my Blackberry without flash, and they obviously ain't doing any justice to the awesome food served there. Must make it a point to bring along a camera for future visits.

Close friend made reservations at Erawan early and pre-ordered our food before the actual day. Some dishes are only available upon pre-order, therefore it is recommended that customers pre-order their food in advance to ensure availability. Their menu is available online here.

We had their Seafood Tom Yum in thick soup, stir fried Thai Basil with mix seafood, deep fried Grouper with spicy sauce, stir fried Hong Kong Kailan with salted fish, and fresh Coconut jelly.

For someone who grew up with Thai food, I'd say that Erawan indeed serves authentic Thai food. The ingredients used for their dishes are extremely fresh and their method of preparation brings out the best of each ingredient.

Erawan definitely has what it takes to satisfy my craving for authentic Thai food. And yes, I do admit to have a craving for authentic Thai food since I don't usually head back to Kelantan often.
