I'm starting to write again

Was talking to Mr.Lum on my feelings towards the occurrence of certain random events. All he did was copied a link into our conversation. And the poem that he had written and posted on that link had somehow inspired me to write again...

So in reply to Mr.Lum's "I have lost so much,"

I knew you loved me and wanted the best for me,
You changed yourself so that I can no longer believe,
No longer believe that what will someday be,
A future together filled with happiness for you and me.

You forced yourself away, ah yes you did,
So painful so deep that you could no longer speak,
I knew it hurt you as much as it hurt me,
But my choice was to keep it away from you, yes I did.
You took this path for us, for the better of both,
And I could no longer thank you more, for loving me so.

I'm also dedicating this poem specially to the first love, S. Thanks for making all the right moves at all the right places in time. It hurt, but it was for the best. I know.
