Loving the new colour

Faded fiery highlights, outgrown layers, and the want for something fresh becomes the perfect excuse for me to get a new do. Besides, it'll be great as a treat after a whole week's preparation for the exam.

Had lunch with the classmates after Friday's paper, and met an old friend from secondary school who was coincidentally there. Headed back to college to get the new student ID done, but they had to run out of cards. Oh well... Hung around college for a while, and went over to the Curve with Aaron the classmate.

3 hours plus later, I walked out with...

A trim, long fringe and new colour.

Random shot of furball showing his love. Simply.

Attempts to grow long, voluptuous and wavy hair failed again. As much as I love constant change of cuts and colour, I've drew the line at drastic changes and experimental projects a long time ago.

Camwhoring Furball

Judging by the amount of photos being posted up here, I'm not exactly the kind of person who constantly clicks shutters away. Choosing not to hop on the picturesque blog bandwagon, I didn't really bother to refine those cam whoring skills either. Anyways, back to the point.

Furball was cuddling while I study as usual.

I took a break and started snapping away when he woke up. Here's the thing. Despite having an owner who barely click shutters, this cat actually knows how to cam whore!

Me in geek mode.

He even knows how to show his affections in front of the camera these days! I'm already starting to wonder what more can he do. Let's just hope that he doesn't start planning some major mischief or something.

Another short break

They don't call it a study break for no reason. With a mid term paper coming up on Friday and tonnes of syllabus to catch up on, the library seems like the next best place to be.

Heading back to the books now. Update soon!

Gone with the old, and in with the new

As much as I still feel emotionally attached to my old laptop, mourning for its loss will definitely not get it fixed. So the next best thing to do is to shop for a new one.

Was supposed to head down to KL on Friday after the budget was set, but the friend HAD to FFK me. Thankfully I managed to drag Kenn the classmate along with me on Monday for some bargain hunting.

TAADAA!!! Here's how my main work table currently looks like.

Good news is, I now have two screens to multi-task on. Which also means, I can also watch my downloaded series on while chatting or surfing through the net. There's also even more space for Mush to sleep while I do my work. And all of that for slightly less than the amount that was given by the parents. Trust me, it is even less than their actual budget.

Sorry for the messy wires though. I only got them organized after this shot was taken. And I'll need to set up the wireless connection next. The increasing amount of wires on this table is just plain uncool.

and it didn't end just there

The technician called last week to inform that my old HP laptop died, and fixing it would cost me a new one. Which also means that it's time to shop for a new one.

Anyways, I was working on my assignments with the aunt's laptop when her trial version of Microsoft Office expired. Hours later, I still couldn't find a way to solve the problem. Thankfully, kor Adrian was kind enough to lend me his laptop when I called.

And my heart melted at that very point. 6 years and counting, this could be one of the sweetest thing that he's done for me. Furthermore, I'm expecting something better from him come July this year.

Promise that I'll make it up to you by the time you complete your CLP ok kor?

Honestly, I still can't bring myself to believe that I actually survived the whole week's ordeal of mishaps. Complete with due dates for two mid term assignments, it was definitely not one of those moments when one could just breakdown and run to the corner.

Still, I wasn't all smiles by the end of the week. I should have done better.
